Ali Kuscu was born in Semerkant He was lahza important mathematician and astronomer He directed the observatory, established by Ulug Bey in Semerkant In the following he moved to Istanbul and became a medrese scholar In a short period he won admiration of Fatih Sultan Mehmet He wrote many books as, Risaltı Halli Esgali Kamer, Risaletül Fethiye, RisaletülMuhammediye, Serhi Tecrit He died in 1474 *

Ali Kuşçu was an important mathematician and astronomer born in Samarkand. He directed the observatory established by Ulugh Beg in Samarkand before moving to Istanbul. In Istanbul, he became a scholar in a medrese and gained the admiration of Fatih Sultan Mehmet in a short period of time. Some of the notable books he wrote include Risaltı Halli Eşkali Kamer, Risale-i Fethiye, Risale-i Muhammediye, and Serhi Tecrit. He passed away in 1474.
